 Boulderactive 2014 and Asian University Climbing Championships (AUCC) were hosted and organised by the NUS climbing club. An exciting and tiring past couple of days, of supporting, helping out, participating. The novice woman category event event was the first ever for me, and my nerves completely went haywire. The usual trainings could not surface in my head ): Routes that could have been done wayyy easier, I ingeniusly made it more difficult. Nevertheless, I flashed the first route and I felt the amazing support from my lovely teammates screaming in total support. Even level 3 was cheering it was such an amazing experience.

 The competition wall felt like a stage, the only stage where your back can face the audience (unlike what drama classes taught me) It was so beautiful to watch so many different people from all walks of life climb. The same route can be approached in endless manners that unfold when different people take the wall. I feel so blessed to have such close coaching with the experienced Clement Tan, whose veins run like rivers on his arms and the most beautiful Beatrix. Of course, my enthusiastic teammates who are training hard and learning together with me on this journey. Can't wait for more. (: Allez!
